ULU Sport runs a variety of coaching, officiating and first aid courses throughout the year. There are also a number of opportunities to develop your skills or gain valuable experience using qualifications that you may have achieved. These courses are free or subsidised with costs or deposits reclaimed through the attached form.
Development Days are a free introduction to a sport with excellent coaching provided by the relevant National Governing Body. It is an opportunity for all the UL college clubs to come together and engage in some skills, drills, activities and games with one another, the benefits of which can be taken back to your respective clubs. It will hopefully also provide an opportunity for students, who are currently not members of clubs but would like to be, to come along and get involved and possibly join a club.

Coaching Courses are also offered at subsidised rates with various volunteering and potentially paid opportunities to use the qualification. ULU does not host any coaching courses but will support students in their attendance of externally organised courses.
First Aid Courses are held ‘in-house’ and provided for students for free but with payment of a deposit, which is returned with the certificate.
